Patty Pravo

BIO

Venice born, Italian singer Patty Pravo has sold 100 million records across the world.
She has been a pop icon for over 40 years.
In 2007, she released a new album tribute to French-Egyptian star Dalida, for the 20th anniversary of her death.
Patty Pravo (real name Nicoletta Strambelli) was discovered in the late 60’s in the newly opened Piper Club in Rome.

Her first record, "Ragazzo Triste", was released in 1966 and she quickly became a household name in her native country.
Her biggest hits are : "Tutt’al Più", "Il Paradiso" and "La Bambola", which took her to the top of the charts not only in Italy but also in France, Japan, Germany and South America.
Patty Pravo was the first female Italian singer to perform in China, in a TV show watched by a billion people. Collaborations include duets with Julio Iglesias and Luciano Pavarotti.
She has a wide repertoire and is at ease singing her own songs in different languages as well as cover versions of the Beatles, Piaf, Brel and likes. She performed many times at the San Remo Music Festival, every concert of hers is sold out and her extremely faithful public spans four générations.
Her tribute to Dalida, released in Italy with the title "Spero Che Ti Piaccia" includes "Col Tempo (Avec Le Temps)", "Fini La Comédie", "Comme Si Tu Étais Là", a beautiful hommage to a lady she looked up to and with who she made many TV appearances.
